About
Football data for everyone
What Varqyst does
Varqyst is a football statistics and data storytelling platform. We publish Premier League data, form guides, head-to-head records, and long-form editorial stories grounded in numbers.
We do not make predictions or offer betting tips. The data we present is for informational and educational purposes. Our goal is to make football analytics accessible to every fan, not just data scientists.
Every statistic is sourced from publicly available databases, verified against multiple references, and updated within 24 hours of match completion.
The Data
Premier League dashboard with sortable league table, team-level stats (goals, xG, possession, clean sheets, form), and match data. The numbers behind every club and every match.
The Stories
Long-form football journalism grounded in statistics. Not predictions — stories. Data as narrative, exploring the history, geography, and science of the Premier League.
The Lab
Accessible explainers on football analytics concepts: what is xG, how possession is measured, understanding shot maps. Education, not advice.
Where our data comes from
Our primary sources are publicly available football statistics databases (FBref, Transfermarkt, official Premier League data). We supplement and verify data against odds-market information provided by UKGC-licensed operators.
Varqyst has commercial relationships with these operators. These relationships help fund the platform but do not influence our editorial content or statistical analysis.

How we work
Our data collection process begins with publicly available match data from sources including FBref and Transfermarkt. This raw data is then cross-referenced against official Premier League statistics and odds-market data from licensed operators.
All statistics are verified by at least two team members before publication. Updates are published within 24 hours of match completion. Our editorial content is independent of our commercial partnerships — data partners have no influence on what we write or how we present statistics.
